iPod_Nano

Okay so you have you iPod and you have all your favourite songs on it. You're going on a long car journey and you don't want to be stuck listening to the radio. What will you do A. take the time and effort and burn all your songs onto a cd, B. put up with th radio its not that bad or C. Find a way of plugging your iPod into your car. I know which option I would choose. Why would you waste the time in burning your mp3's back to a cd you spent time doing the opposite.

honda accord mp3 players : How to connect your mp3 player to your car : Options

Here is where I'll show you the options you have some cheaper then other but the good things is there's options. You only have to spend as much money as you want to. Obviously the cheaper the options the less quality sound you will get. And there are downsides to all of the options.

Option 1 : iPod adapter cables

Here is the cheap option you can get two different types of cables. Depending on your radio you may have an aux-in socket. In my car it is in the glove box if you do great you will just need to get a double ended headphone cable. I personally think that this is not the right option I wouldn't go for this one as you have to have wires everywhere and it can be fiddly. This cable will set you back £4 - £10

Option 2: iPod Radio transmitters

This option is a small device that plugs into the bottom of your iPod and it will transmit what ever you're playing to your radio. It then uses the power off your iPod to power itself and then it transmits what ever you're playing onto your radio. It is easy to use you for example set your iPod radio transmitter to 84.00 fm and then tune your radio into the same 84.00 fm and you can then play your iPod music on your car radio. The unit cost about £20 - £40.

Option 3: iPod compatable radio

This option means that you have to replace the whole of your radio. This is simple a car radio that accepts a usb connection to it. So you don't need to have any other wires apart from the one that came in the box. This option will set you back starting from £130+. There are some high end systems that have Sat nav built in that cost about £700.
