iPod_nano

So you're thinking of purchasing an iPod nano. You might have already selected a 4 gb nano as the model you want, but do you know exactly what the 4 gb nano can do. Do you know that it can actually store text files as well as address book entries play games plus much more. In this article I plan to give you an overview of the iPod nano

The iPod nano is a fantastic little media player. Media player means that it can play and store all different types of media from videos to music to text files. I personally prefer the 4 gb nano because 4 gb is a good size for storing music as well as videos. The iPod nano is also favoured by sports enthusiasts because of the way the nano stores files in a solid state memory rather then a miniature hard drive.

This is beneficial if you every drop your nano as there are in theory no breakable parts inside well I say unbreakable I mean more resistant. There are a whole range or iPods out there each of them have there different uses for example you wouldn’t want to be running around with your 40 gb iPod video strapped to your arm firstly it would be uncomfortable and secondly your advertising that you have a lot of money stuck to your arm!

The main features of the new iPod Nano are as follows.

The Apple iPod nano now consists of hard plastic on the front and metal on the back. You connect the iPod 4 gb nano to a USB dock connector or simple use the headphone jack. The click wheel can sense circular movements and you use it to control volume or navigate through the menus.

The ipod 4 gb Nano is available in a range of five colors also it now comes In anodised aluminium and polished stainless steel.

The iPod nano comes with a battery life of upto 14 hours this is extendable with power saving settings like turning the backlight of the screen off or down to 1 second. The iPod nano is also capable of displaying upto 65,536 colours. The back screen is 65% brighter then all previous models this can lead to lower battery life but if you configure your nano correctly you can optimise. The battery can last on default settings and play up to 5 hours of videos or up to 24 hours of audio on a single charge.

The moral of this story is that I would definitely recommend buying an iPod 4 gb nano as it is a very versatile portable media player. It has everything you need and also it’s a perfect size for all occasions.
